Our world has changed, both gradually and suddenly.
None of us can know what the consequences of any change will be. Or how it will affect our own local lives or the bigger picture.
One thing each of us can do is to decide who we want to be in this world and how we choose to meet it.
To affect change on any level inside or outside we must start with ourselves. The key to effectively doing so is based on knowing the difference between what we can change, and what we can’t. We cannot change another, but we can change ourselves.
How we experience anything and everything is up to us. Our inner world is the reality we experience with our minds and emotions every day, and what goes on the inside is reflected in our outside reality. It doesn’t even have to be the same as yesterday.
We can choose to learn to grow stronger, to make the decision to practice looking ahead instead of backward, to meet every other person with compassion and acceptance, to give more of ourselves, to smile more, to really listen - we can learn and practice to grow stronger as a group. A group of human beings.
Join me and choose to become better at life in whatever way you can, and so improve your own life quality a little bit at a time while also contributing to a healthier stronger community of us. Together we can practice and help build a better and more civil world for ourselves and those around us from the inside out.
